The Sanctuary of the Madonna of Macereto, of the XVI century, located on the homonym highland in the Commune of Visso, contains five works attributed to Simone De Magistris. The Palazzo of the Guaite (1583) creates in the visitor feelings of elevated spirituality.”

The ski resorts of Ussita-Frontignano are located only 14 km from Visso, among the most beautiful places of the Appennini Mountains. The area offers many cultural opportunities and a lot of outdoor activities: ski, snowboard, ski mountaineering, trekking, mountain biking. In the valley there are infrastructures thanks to which everybody can practice ice skating, hockey, swimming, tennis, horseback riding and many others. In winter the area is easily accessible and the ski tracks are usually very well organized in order to ensure that you can enjoy yourself here and have a wonderful holiday on the snow.
